Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of DataGrowth (datagrowth.gr), a community events platform operated by Big Blue Data Academy ("DataGrowth", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who can use DataGrowth

DataGrowth is a community for data professionals. You must provide accurate account information (your first name, last name, and a valid email address) when you register, whether by email or by signing in with Google.

2. Your account

• You're responsible for keeping access to your email or Google account secure, since that's how you sign in.
• You agree to keep your profile information accurate and up to date.
• We may block or delete accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or are used abusively.

3. Events and RSVPs

• RSVPing to an event reserves you a spot, subject to the event's capacity. If an event is full, you may join a waitlist and will be automatically promoted if a spot opens up.
• You can cancel your RSVP at any time from the event page.
• Event details (date, time, location, format) may change; we'll do our best to notify RSVP'd attendees of significant changes by email.
• DataGrowth is not responsible for the conduct of other attendees, organizers, or sponsors at an event, or for any third-party venue.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or to harass other members;
• Upload a profile photo or content that is offensive, infringing, or not your own to post;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or to the platform's systems;
• Use RSVP or member data for unsolicited marketing.

5. Content you provide

You retain ownership of any content you upload (such as your profile photo). By uploading it, you grant us a limited license to display it on the platform in connection with your account and event attendance (e.g. the "who's going" list).

6. Third-party sign-in

If you sign in with Google, your use of that service is also subject to Google's own terms and privacy policy. We only receive the basic profile information described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual property

The DataGrowth name, logo, and site design are owned by Big Blue Data Academy. Event descriptions, sponsor logos, and organizer content belong to their respective owners and are published with permission.

8. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

DataGrowth is provided "as is". We do our best to keep event information accurate and the platform available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access and aren't liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the site or attendance at an event.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of DataGrowth after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece.
